I was speaking to a good friend of mine, a specialist child psychiatrist when the topic as usual turned to the social conditions that children have to contend with today. You know the story - we heard our parents tell us - “In our day that never happened...” etc. But, our modern times are a far far cry from childhoods of 20 or thirty years ago! With each passing year evil seems to be attacking the youth earlier and earlier.
For example, hardcore drugs only ventured into my world at school during late high school. But now primary school children are exposed to this filth! Forget Alice in Wonderland mom’s and dad’s! Its Coked out Crack whore Alice and her wicked friends like the White rabbit selling coke and tik-tik while the old Queen and King turn out to be paedophiles after your little one!!! Schools and the school system - we all know from our childhood - is a breeding ground for evil. It is a system forced on the world by the educationalists who have not kept up with the times. We all know that the school system is failing but we do nothing about it. It encourages mob behaviour which is pure evil. The individual is not encouraged or brought out at all. Like the old public service in the Apartheid days the education system is full of idiots - teachers who forget that the primary role is teaching! People who target the teaching profession to hide their incompetency - they would not function in the outside world. They seek the protection of the schooling system. A nice jobbie wobbie so to speak. Teachers too that enjoy the power that they wield etc. Naturally, not all schools are the same but it appears that the majority of teachers or educators are at fault. A great sociological study is called for - by social scientists who do not have any agenda.
You as a parent know these things and the climate that South Africa it is very real. Crime and corruption are very
real and are threatening - they are impacting on every sphere of our educational system. A system that is failing horribly! Its worldwide. Make no error. Take a look at Paris Hilton and other idiots - what went wrong?
The background we have painted allows you to appreciate these negative forces in operation. Young children are going to be exposed to all of this and its a parents’ duty to make sure that they are equipped to handle this. Bullying - as my psychiatrist friend states - is a phenomenon that he encounters with his child patients regularly. And, if you extrapolate from what we have discussed - bullies are a product of the system. Period. Moronic system breads morons who like to bully. Bullying can be devastating to a child. I know - I was bullied by morons at school. But I was prepared for them. My parents had educated and provided me with the resources to fight them but - it is - terrible! The instigators of such bullying need to be understood because bullies have usually been harmed by someone - usually an adult and they repeat the cycle. They are
